Chinese Leading Manufacturer Indole-3-Carbinol Most Active And Most Studied Active Ingredients
Product Introduction
Indole-3-carbinol is a tumor chemopreventive substance that can be extracted from cruciferous vegetables (such as broccoli, radish and cauliflower). Indole-3-carbinol can inhibit the occurrence and development of many tumors.
Indole-3-carbinol is produced by degradation of glucosinolate brassinolate, which is widely found in cruciferous vegetables. It can inhibit the activation of NF-κB and IκBα kinases.
Product Function
After 48 hours of treatment with four concentrations of experimental groups and the control group, the apoptosis rates of Hep-2 cells were (3.95±0.68)%, (8.54±1.35)%, (21.28±2.32)%, (38.65±4.85)% and (4.26±0.58)%, respectively. This indicates that indole-3-carbinol inhibits the proliferation of Hep-2 cells in a concentration-dependent manner, induces apoptosis and the expression of Livin protein. Indole-3-carbinol can inhibit the proliferation of Hep-2 cells, and its induction of apoptosis may be related to the inhibition of Livin protein expression. With the increase of indole-3-carbinol concentration, the expression of Livin gradually decreased, indicating that after the action of indole-3-carbinol, the expression of Livin protein was negatively correlated with the apoptosis rate of human laryngeal cancer cell line Hep-2, indicating that Livin protein may play a certain role in the process of indole-3-carbinol-induced apoptosis of human laryngeal cancer cells. Indole-3-carbinol can only induce apoptosis of cancer cells, and is safe and non-cytotoxic to non-tumor cells. Due to its high efficiency, non-toxicity and natural anti-tumor properties, indole-3-carbinol can be used as one of the candidates for tumor prevention and treatment drugs. The molecular mechanism of indole-3-carbinol in inhibiting laryngeal cancer cells still needs further study to provide a theoretical basis for future clinical drug research.
