Product Function
1. Lower calorific value
Erythritol is a very low energy sweetener compared to other sweeteners, with a caloric value of about 1.25kJ/g, about 1/10 that of sucrose. This is because this sugar alcohol is not metabolized in the body and 90% is excreted in the urine.
