Snake bed element (English: Osthol or osthole) is an organic compound, molecular formula C15H16O3, belongs to coumarin derivatives, exists in snake bed (Cnidium monnieri), angelica dahurica (Angelica archangelica) and other plants.
Produced in East China, central south, southwest, northwest, North China, northeast China. Born in the field, roadside, grass and river wetland. The Soviet Union, North Korea, Vietnam, North America and other European countries are also distributed.Snake bed son, traditional Chinese medicine name. Dry mature fruit of Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cuss. Distribution in east China, central south, southwest, northwest, north China, northeast China and other places. It has the effect of dry dampness dispelling wind, insecticidal and relieving itching, and warm kidney and aphrodisiac. Often used in Yin itching, eczema itching, dampness and low back pain, kidney impotence, uterine cold infertility.

Product Function
1.It is used to treat skin eczema and pruritus.
Such as infantile eczema, acute onset of chronic eczema, erosion period of sweat herpes, scrotal eczema, vulva pruritus, scabies, skin ringworm, etc. Skin exudate and itching, can use snake bed fried water outside washing, or with snake bed 30g, light powder 9g, grind for fine, oil or Vaseline cream, or with snake bed oil cream, all have therapeutic effect.
2.For the treatment of vaginal trichomonas.
With vulva pruritus caused by vaginal trichomonas, can use 30g snake bed, 6g alum, or 30g Perilla leaves, decoction water to wash; also can use 10% snake bed liquid 500 ml rinse, and add snake bed vaginal suppository, with good effect.
3.For the treatment of kidney deficiency, impotence and other cases.
