These individuals already have insufficient yang energy and weak digestive function. Therefore, people who often experience cold hands and feet, loose stools, and prefer warmth and pressure on their stomach should avoid using gardenia fruit.

(II) Use with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women
Although there are currently no studies clearly indicating serious harm of gardenia fruit to pregnant women and fetuses, due to its cold nature, pregnant women should use it with caution to ensure the safety of both mother and child.
