what is Gotu Kola Extract Asiaticoside?
The complex extracted from gotu kola extract using titration methods, and isolated from the purified fraction, contains over 95% active molecules:
- 60% acids: Asiatic acid and madecassic acid (acidify the cytoplasm in plant cells, and this antibacterial activity protects the plant itself against fungal and yeast infections).
- 40% sugars: Asiaticoside (helps combat low intracellular pH by providing anti-inflammatory and cytoprotective effects).

What are the uses of Centella asiatica extract?
1. Gotu Kola can repair damaged cells. For example, after receiving a mesotherapy treatment, if you have small needle marks on your face, applying a repair gel containing madecassoside can accelerate the healing of the needle marks and reduce redness – it promotes epidermal cell proliferation, allowing damaged skin to heal quickly without irritating the wound.
2. Centella asiatica can also fade acne marks and scars. Madecassoside inhibits inflammation and reduces hyperpigmentation (for dark acne marks); asiaticoside promotes normal collagen production and rearranges abnormal collagen (for red acne marks or hypertrophic scars).
